Ok well the check up went fine. Mykal cried all the way there and all the while we were waiting to go into the room. Once we got into the room he quieted down while the doctor was checking him over then he started to cry so she said go a head and feed him, which I did. Then when the nurse came in with the two shots I pulled him off at that time he started to cry again and cried so hard that you couldn't hear him and by the time the nurse was pulling out the second shot out of his leg he had stopped. Now he was supposed to have 5 different shots total but they combine them into three different shots to ease the pain I guess but they had run out of the third shot so I have to call on Monday to see when we can go get the last one. The Dr. told me it could have three different reactions to him, one it could make him hyper, two it could make him sleepy, and three it could give him a low grade fever. She told me to give him Tylenol every 4 hours for a 24 hour time span. The Dr.s office is on the second floor of the hospital and by the time I got him dressed and got out of the room and got checked out which consisted of the nurse telling me to call on Monday because she didn't have April's schedule yet, which I then said I would be calling anyways, and got to the elevator Mykal was already sleeping. He weighs in at 10 lbs and is (OMG) 23 1/2 inches long. The Dr. couldn't believe how big he has gotten and neither can I. This little man is going to be one tall little man. She also said that he is doing great otherwise. Which i was glad to hear. So there you have it we both made it through it.

Well as you prolly already know my little man has to go to the doctors today and get like 5 shots. So last night after I signed off with Mom he woke up to be fed and after that I felt so bad about today that I held him all night while we both slept on the couch, we have been sleeping there sence he got sick because Daddy is on call and needs his sleep. Anyways I have been giving him lots and lots of hugs and kisses and will continue to do so till he is all better. Kim asked me who would be crying more Mykal or me and I am pretty sure it will be me. The only thing I can hope is that the shots will just put him to sleep and not give him a fever. Well I will let you all know how things turn out when we get home provided I have enough time to write it. I am just glad that he has been all smiles and laughs today.

Well as you all know my poor baby went to the Dr today because momma was being a nervous first momma. Anyways he is find just has a cold (clod...hehe) but his ears and chest are great. The good news is he now weighs in at 9lbs 12oz. Yay. Well we go back to the Dr's on Feb 10th so we will see how much more he has grown.

Last night went pretty good. Mykal went down at around 8:30 and woke up the first time at around 1:30. Then he woke up a few times after that and around 5:30 we came out here and fell back to sleep here in the chair till 9:30. I can only hope that tonight goes just as well.

Well Mykal has found his lungs. All the while I was changing him he was telling me all kinds of stories. He is funny when he realizes that he was the one who made the noise he just laughs and laughs. So today sence it is a lot nicer than yesterday we went on a walk at the park.
